Braathens International Airways AB Files for Bankruptcy for Airbus Operations

On September 30, Braathens filed for bankruptcy for its Airbus operations within Braathens International Airways AB and Braathens Crew AB due to liquidity shortages.

As a result, all Airbus flights operated for tour operators are cancelled with immediate effect. Other parts of Braathens’ operations, including flights operated with ATR72-600 aircraft, continue as planned.
