At Braathens, we have a long history of working with more sustainable solutions to reach net-zero emissions as soon as possible.
The pathway to net-zero emissions:
Most of our fleet consists of the ATR 72-600. It is one of the world's most energy-efficient regional aircraft.
It is already possible to fly on SAF that reduces the climate impacting greenhouse gas emissions. We have a long history of integrating SAF in our commercial offer and flying on SAF.
The development of new technology in areas such as electrification and hydrogen are progressing rapidly, and we participate in several innovative collaborations to support the commercialization of these technologies as soon as possible.
The last part of the climate impacting greenhouse gas emissions that we cannot reduce in our own operations we eliminate through investments in carbon dioxide reduction, e.g. carbon sinks.
Our management system is certified according to ISO14001:2015 and have a validated SBTi near term target.
